Beliefnet editor to speak on campus

Ju-Don Marshall Roberts, editor and senior vice president of Beliefnet.com, will speak on “How the Media can be Relevant and Essential in the Internet Age” on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the DeNaples Student Center 4th floor ballroom.

Roberts is the former executive editor of Washingtonpost.com and contributed to web coverage that helped the Washington Post win a Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News for its coverage of the Virginia Tech shootings.

She also serves on the board of the Online News Association.

The event is being co-sponsored by the Society of Professional Journalists, Keystone Pro Chapter and the University of Scranton Students in Free Enterprise.
