Dr. Mikesell to chair panel at NCA

Dr. Rebecca Mikesell of the University of Scranton’s Department of Communication will chair a panel on Adoptive Family Communication at the annual conference of the National Communication Association today in Chicago.

The panel, which will be held from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m., will feature research by scholars from the University of Missouri-Columbia, the University of Wisconsin and the University of Nebraska.

The National Communication Association, formerly the Speech Communication Association, is the largest and oldest national organization dedicated to the field of communication. It has more than 8,000 members in every state and more than 20 countries.
