Any student enrolled in an undergraduate-level communication program may submit a paper that has been written for a course during the 2009-2010 academic year, provided it deals with an area of communication study recognized by the National Communication Association.
The first place student paper will receive an award of $100. Second place will receive $50. In addition, winners will have their convention registration fee and banquet ticket charge waived.
Papers, 8-15 pages in length, should be typed and double-spaced. On a separate sheet, include your name, address, e-mail, summer phone number and an explanation of the original assignment. Include the course progessor’s name and the name and address of the Department of Communication chair.
