Comm event links students, alumni

The University of Scranton’s Department of Communication will sponsor Communication Connection: A Networking Opportunity Friday, April 23 beginning at 11 a.m. in 509 Brennan Hall.

The biennial event brings students together with alumni to discuss internships, job opportunities and careers in communication.

This year’s agenda includes:

11 a.m.-1 p.m. Networking event in 509 Brennan.
Each alum will have a table to display materials. Students can meet and visit. Some alumni have internship/job opportunities and will be recruiting.

1 – 2 p.m. Lunch, 3rd floor cafeteria.
A section of the cafeteria will be reserved for attendees. Students are invited to attend using the meal cards or at their own expense. Faculty and alumni are guests of SIFE.

2:15 – 3 p.m. Concurrent panel discussions.
Students select one panel or sit in on more than one. Alums will know that students may be double dipping and therefore moving discreetly in and out of rooms.
